Potatoes are packed with vitamins C, B1(thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3, and B6, Potatoes are also high in Potassium, and contain a vegetable protein which has essential amino acids.

  • Potassium: The predominant mineral in potatoes, is concentrated in the skin, and has benefits for heart health.
  • Vitamin C: The main vitamin found in potatoes. Boost the body’s ability to fight off illnesses by strengthening the immune system
  • Folate: Concentrated in the peel, is essential for cell growth and metabolism.
  • Vitamin B6:  Is involved in the formation of red blood cells.
  • Vitamin B1: Thiamine is required by our bodies to use carbohydrates properly. And it is useful for treating inflammation of the nerves.
