Kidney stones are mineral and salts that form inside of your kidney. They occur as a result of your urine is so concentrated that this allows these minerals to stick together. While many stones pass without incident, when they become more significant than approximately 5 millimeters, they can be very painful.

Symptoms include blood in the urine, back pain, stomach pain and pain upon urination. Water
This is nature’s cleanser and does not give kidney stones time to form into large enough aggregates to cause symptoms, drinking water enough to where your urine is almost clear is an excellent place to start.

Limiting animal protein
These proteins are often rich in purines which form uric acid, which is one of the components of kidney stones

Limiting your salt
Because salt and calcium have a relationship, the more salt your intake, the more calcium your kidney must filter making you predispose to developing stones

Some natural remedies include

  • Uva Ursi Tea this tea is good for calming inflammation in the urinary tract, thus increasing urine flow.
  • Dandelion root is the weeds that grow in your yard. Those weeds may have some benefit; after all, this root is a natural diuretic, thus increasing urine flow and decreasing the kidney’s ability to form stones.
  • Celery is a great urine producer, which in turn flushes out the kidneys.
  • Fiber helps to decrease calcium in your urine combined with a healthy diet. So, start filling your bowl with some bran flakes.
  • Horsetail tea is a natural diuretic that flushes uric acid out of your kidneys.
