Where Do You Live

Spread the love

Numbers 35:34
You shall not defile the land in which you live, in the midst of which I dwell, for I the Lord dwell in the midst of the people of Israel.”

The food that you decide to eat is what establishes your environment, your neighborhood, which is where you reside can determine a lot about your future. Food creates an environment for your cells, tissues, organs, and systems to thrive and be healthy. The chemistry of food is a significant factor when choosing foods that will help you achieve good health.

The biochemical elements of food are divided into two groups. They can be alkaline forming foods; this is made up of mostly fruits and vegetables. Moreover, then there are acid forming foods; this is generally made up of your starches and meats. This is why a diet that is high in fruits and vegetables, with moderate to minimal amounts of starchy foods, nuts, and meat is best when trying to reverse illnesses and create an optimum environment for healing.

When your diet consists mainly of pasta, pizza, meat, candy, pop, beer, alcohol, processed cereals, fatty foods, fried foods, foods in jars, cans, and boxes, chances are you are living in an acidic environment.

When your diet keeps your body in a constant acidic state, this creates more work on the liver, kidney, and lymphatic system to neutralize the acidic state by pulling elements from other areas of your body, such as calcium and magnesium from your teeth, bones, and muscles in its effort to buffer the acidic environment.

When the body has exhausted all neutralizing efforts, this can create inflammation in the body, that manifest as sluggishness, arthritis, acne, weight gain, and a host of other ailments.  Why not make better choices, to create a place that you don’t mind living in, and a place you don’t mind inviting friends, a home fit for a King, so it really can be a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
