Bankrupt

Spread the love

Proverbs 21:20 (NIV)
The wise store up choice food and olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down.

The body that you live in is a temple full of precious treasures, and even if you believe that your temple’s treasure will never dwindle, it is time to consider whether you have been spending more than you have been saving. While you can actually survive for a while spending more money than you have, eventually debt catches up to you, and if you wish to recover you must make arrangements with your creditors or file for bankruptcy.

Disease is actually the body telling you that it is deficient somewhere. Your heart, lungs, brain, liver, kidneys, and skin are your creditors, and usually when you get behind in settling the bill with them these organs demand a payment arrangement, which you make with the pharmacy. Because you have not paid on time, your creditors demand a partial payment by way of prescription drugs; this medication is the body’s insurance that you are aware of the debt and will catch the bill up in a timely manner.

Should you continue down the path of spending more than you have, eventually the body will force you to file bankruptcy. Bankruptcy comes by way of stroke, heart attack, cancer, or some other disease. Once this occurs you are forced to show up to a hearing (hospital) to review what you actually have and what you can pay. Along with this, you may have to forfeit some of you beloved assets; you may have to give up a kidney, or liver, or a few heart vessels. These are assets that can never be recovered.

May you have the courage to spend what you have wisely and replace what you have depleted before you must start dealing with bill collectors or bankruptcy
